Nouakchott, March 3, 2025 – A historic agreement was signed today between the International Language Center (CIDL) in Nouakchott, Mauritania, and English for Africa, based in Meknes, Morocco, to introduce the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification program in Mauritania. This initiative aims to enhance the training of English teachers and raise the standards of English language teaching in the country.
The CELTA program, delivered by Cambridge Assessment English, is one of the most internationally recognized certifications for teaching English. It provides intensive training for future teachers with a focus on modern and interactive approaches to language learning.
