International language tests are essential tools to assess learners’ language skills in a globally recognized framework. For this reason, CIDL prepares learners for the following international language tests:

  1. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
  • Language: English
  • Description: Assessed primarily for admission to universities using English as the language of instruction, the TOEFL measures listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.
  • Target audience: Students wishing to study in English-speaking countries.
  1. IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
  • Language: English
  • Description: Used for immigration, work and study, the IELTS offers two versions: academic and general. It assesses the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
  • Target audience: Students, professionals and candidates for immigration.
  1. DELF/DALF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française / Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française)
  • Language: French
  • Description: These diplomas are awarded by the French Ministry of National Education to assess the level of proficiency in French. The DELF includes four levels (A1 to B2) and the DALF includes two levels (C1 and C2).
  • Target audience: Students and professionals wishing to prove their proficiency in French.
  1. TFI (Test de Français International) is a French language proficiency test designed to assess the linguistic abilities of non-French speakers.

    Description: The TFI aims to measure candidates’ written and oral comprehension in French, in order to assess their ability to use the language in academic and professional contexts. It is particularly useful for people who wish to work or study in French-speaking countries or in environments where French is used.
